Nidaros Roller Derby is Trondheim’s roller derby club, and in September you can try the sport yourself. At open practice you’ll be able to try on skates and learn more about the sport. It’s all free and non-binding.

WHEN AND WHERE
Tuesday 12. September 2023 between 19-21(Trondheim Spektrum, D1)

and

Saturday 16. September 2023 between 14-16(Ladehallen)

WHO CAN JOIN
Our practices are open for ALL genders, and roller derby are known for its inclusive and anti-discrimination policies.

BRING
Feel free to bring any gear you have, otherwise we will provide you with all the equipment. Wear normal training clothes and bring a water bottle.

BEGINNER’S CLASSES
Thursdays at 19-20.30. First practice september 21. When you have gone through the beginner’s course you are ready to play with the team.

WHAT IS THIS?

About the club

Nidaros Roller Derby is a women’s flat track roller derby club in Trondheim – Norway. We currently have approximately 25 active members. Women are welcome to join as skaters, and men are welcome to join as referees or Non-Skating Officials.

NRD was established in August 2010 as the first roller derby club in Norway.

We are members of The Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports (NIF), and the Norwegian Skating Association (NSF). We are also proud to be the first Norwegian WFTDA  member league.
